A few things about this wedding…
- The shot of Jess and Joe between the bridges was one I had envisioned for a long time, but bad luck always got in the way. There’d always be a boat at the dock or a trailer in the way or something else would always prevent a clear shot of just the couple and the bridge. So it was finally nice to be able to put this shot together!
- I’m not sure I’ve seen two people more happy to be finally married than Jess and Joe. So much happiness throughout the day. And after meeting each other on Jess’ first day at Target, this is literally a tale of love at first sight.
- We had sun, warmth and fairly tame winds for Jess and Joe’s wedding day, which contrasts with overcast skies, 40-50 mile per hour wind gusts and cold weather. Also, I did not get dog crap all over my jacket, camera and lens strap, but that is a story for another day. Ok, ok. I’ll give you the CliffNotes version. Basically, I was rolling around on the ground during their engagement session to get a shot and I rolled over a fresh pile of dog poo. It smelled really bad too and was one of the unfortunately memorable moments of their engagement session. Yay.
- Can all brides get ready for their wedding day in Greysolon’s bridal suite? It’s the best, the light is so nice, the space so ornate and classic.
Congrats Jess and Joe!
